We gave out the books as prizes for competitions connected with Book Week. They were certainly very well received by the children who enjoyed the book and the colouring-in activities.

The children were able to make connections with the characters

Rated 5 out of 5

The children thoroughly enjoyed ‘Ty D Sites’ so much so, they all wanted to become construction workers for the day. The children were able to make connections with the characters in the book and became excited to see people like themselves.

The book brought to our attention the many different roles needed to successfully operate a construction company, and how important teamwork is.

Engaging and entertaining

Rated 5 out of 5

Bronte School were delighted to share ‘Ty D Sites’ with their pupils. We found it to be an engaging and entertaining way to showcase the logistics of a construction site and how it is managed. The many roles are explained in an inclusive way which will inspire the younger generation into a construction industry that is accessible and welcoming to all.

Refreshing, engaging and well executed

Rated 5 out of 5

A good introduction to the world of construction and the many roles in the industry. Inclusion and diversity have been considered by the author and well executed by the Illustrator. All together a first class and engaging reading book for children.
